Jujutsu Kaisen Drops New Look At The Strongest Sorcerers Ahead of Its Biggest Event

It’s been almost two years since the Jujutsu Kaisen manga concluded its main story, but the franchise remains relevant even now. It’s all thanks to the new projects, including the official sequel, the anime’s new seasons, among many other exciting updates. While the main story in the manga has already ended, the anime has only released three seasons so far, adapting up until half of the Culling Game Arc. The deadly battle royale will wrap up in Season 4 before the anime moves on to the highly anticipated Shinjuku Showdown Arc. Not only is the Shinjuku Showdown the final arc of the series, but it also features the intense duel between Satoru Gojo and Ryomen Sukuna.

While fans await the anime’s return, the official X handle of the anime shares a new visual of Satoru Gojo and Yuta Okkotsu. Even among special grade sorcerers, the two of them are considered exceptional thanks to their unparalleled strength. While Gojo has the experience and the legendary Six Eyes, Yuta’s cursed energy reserves far surpass his sensei. The new visual of the two beloved characters was shared to hype up the Juju Fest, which will be held this month.

The anime has been commemorating its 5th anniversary for several months, and it wraps up this month with Juju Fest. It will he held on August 29th and 30th, and it’s expected to be the biggest anime event so far. The official X handle keeps hyping up the event with new visuals and updates, spotlighting the beloved characters. The event aims to celebrate the 5 years of the anime’s journey, which made Jujutsu Kaisen one of the most beloved series of all time.

The voice actors will also be present to play their respective characters on stage. Additionally, Jujutsu Kaisen is known for having some of the best opening and ending themes, and the artists will be performing live during the upcoming event at K Arena Yokohama. Not only that, but fans are also expecting a major update on the franchise’s future projects and updates, including Season 4.

Season 4 already shared its first teaser on June 19th, 2026, during MAPPA’s 15th anniversary event. Although fans got a brief glimpse at what to expect from the upcoming season, the teaser doesn’t share the release window. However, there’s a good possibility that Season 4 will drop earlier than expected. Usually, the anime takes around three years to release new seasons, but the first two seasons had two cours each.

On the other hand, Season 3 only had 12 episodes, which is why the second part of the Culling Game might drop sooner than fans realize. This is further backed by the fact that the teaser was shared shortly after the Season 3 finale. Additionally, since the manga has already ended, it’s possible that the studio doesn’t plan on making fans wait too long.
