10 years is a long wait for a second season, but then, The Night Manager was never intended to have a Season 2. Creator and writer David Farr has given himself a tricky mission, extending what had been a standalone story, and this time without a novel to adapt from. What he does have, as with the first season, is beautiful locales, a strong lead in star Tom Hiddleston, and an alluringly scary villain, this time in the form of Babylon star Diego Calva.
