'I Want Your Sex' Review: Olivia Wilde Schools Cooper Hoffman in Delightful Dom/sub Tale

Gregg Araki positions his latest film, I Want Your Sex, as a challenge to a sexphobic Gen Z to swap the convenience of digital pleasure for the messy realities of physical intimacy. I’m not quite sure that it entirely works on that front, since the film feels like it’s pontificating to the youth about what they’re doing wrong, rather than trying to invite them into a new way of seeing (let’s just say that being asked to be “Olivia Wilde’s sexual muse” sounds a lot better on paper). It’s best enjoyed as a raucous, unexpected joyride of carnality, pulsating with an all-consuming and terrifying horniness.
