The odd name aside, Apple TV’s Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is a dark comedy that delivers on its titular promise. The series begins shortly after the divorce of Paula (Tatiana Maslany) and her ex-husband Karl (Jake Johnson), and the resulting messy custody battle for daughter Hazel (Nola Wallace). But Paula has drama to contend with beyond the usual when, besides her unenviable custody battle, she believes she has witnessed a crime, despite every fiber of her being telling her she should stay out of it.
