It’s Die Hard on the high seas in Mutiny as Jason Statham delivers bloody vengeance on a cargo ship. There’s not much thinking required, and that’s blissfully okay in a straightforward action thriller with a legitimate body count. You discount the coincidences and contrivances galore because French director Jean-François Richet knows how to craft brutal fight scenes. His sharp action choreography and crisp editing give Mutiny a high entertainment value that pretty much buries any flaws.
