Tokyo Revengers is gearing up to kick off the anime’s grand finale, and has set a date for its Disney+ premiere with a new trailer showing off its big comeback. Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers ended its original manga run some time ago, but the anime has been keeping the franchise alive with new seasons since. But that’s set to come to an end very soon as the anime is ready to adapt the penultimate arc of the series as it’s touting a final saga to the long running franchise overall.
Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc is the fourth season of the anime series, and is set to continue Takemichi’s struggle for the best possible future. After the end of the third season, Takemichi discovered that while he was able to save everyone else, Mikey was left in a much darker future. Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc will be making its debut on October 2nd with Disney+ (and Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States) as part of the Fall 2026 anime schedule. Maki Kodaira is set to take over from Koichi Hatsumi (who is overseeing the scripts instead) and directing the new season for Liden Films. Airi Tsuyuki, Kae Takakura, Keiko Ota and Kenichi Onuki will be providing character designs, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi will be composing the music. More details have been confirmed for the anime’s return too.
The new opening theme for the season is titled “IGNITE” as performed by JO1, and the new ending theme for the series is titled “TRICK STAR” as performed by go!go!vanillas. New additions to the voice cast to help kick off the anime’s grand finale include Naoyuki Shimozuru as Takeomi Akashi, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Wakasa Imaushi, Takanori Hoshino as Keizo Arashi, Hiroki Yasumoto as South Terano. It’s also going to be hosting a panel during the New York Comic Con 2026 weekend this October for more updates too.
Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans is set to adapt the penultimate arc of Ken Wakui’s original manga, but the anime adaptation is touting this as a finale for the franchise overall. It’s possible we’ll see everything adapted over its episodes before it’s all said and done, but it’s yet to be revealed just how long this season is going to be sticking around for. That’s before even getting into just how divisive the original finale for the series actually is, and whether or not the anime is going to be able to take it all on.
Tokyo Revengers had one of the most divisive manga finales of a Shonen series in recent memory, and that was made even worse by the fact that the series’ time travel gimmick was making the waters even murkier towards that finale. Now that the anime is set to adapt this finale, there is a way it can be better received by fans if the adaptation can help it all make much more sense than the first go around.
